Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a musical family. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of traditional music as well as older Boleros. Also, she listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana enjoys tangos and drama and opera. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her, she started more serious training in vocals at age 16 under the guidance of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. She continued her musical training in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In her early career, she saw her perform with many opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. Following her move in America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current place in the southern part of California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She is involved with many local initiatives in both teaching and performer because of her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana was also a part of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor of the Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to do the same.
