Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. Involved in the margins of both traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she is also involved in other styles like hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as sweet, sharp but also possessing a bit of bite. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she received an Grammy. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami the third album by her included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in 2022, as a result of a Saturday Night Live appearance by the singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer who performed on her own in the show. Motomami Rosala as well as winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first woman to be awarded both.
